BIZremedies Founder & CEO Susan K. Wehrley, has been a Corporate Culture Coach, Consultant & Trainer for over 25 years. She started as the President of Susan K. Wehrley & Associates, Inc., working with small to Fortune 500 companies such as:
Pepsi, Harley-Davidson, Johnson Controls, Cuna Mutual, Summit Credit Union, Moore Oil, Decade Properties, Pewaukee Library, The Sportsman Channel, MSI General, Bradley Center, Dedicated Computing, Andis Company, Hyatt Hotels & Resorts, Baptistas, Verlo Mattress, Corporate Central Credit Union, GE
...just to name a few of the hundreds of companies and thousands of individuals Susan has worked with over the course of over 25 years, to help them change their culture and reach their potential.
At age 16, Susan knew she wanted to be a motivational speaker and author, after watching countless PBS shows with her favorite motivational speakers and reading their books. After she graduated from college with a business and communication degree, Susan took a job as a sales leader with a national direct mail company called Advo Systems. As a national sales leader, Susan worked with businesses to discover their value-added proposition, and their unique offering to the marketplace. She never sold them direct mail; she offered them solutions to grow their business through her ideas and direct mail offerings. Reaching over the 6-figure income level before age 30, Susan was asked to teach for Dale Carneige part-time, while she continued her full-time sales career. Discovering her passion for training and business development, Susan set out to start her own company, Susan K. Wehrley & Associates, Inc. by the age of 30. As fate would have it, Susan quickly landed her first account, Pepsi-Cola, who was happy with the results of Susan's training and coaching and therefore recommended her to a leather seat manufacturing company called, Milsco Manufacturing. After working with Milsco to increase their ability to work together to serve their biggest customer, Harley-Davidson, she was hired by Harley due to the results they experienced first hand. Then in 2012, Susan met George Dalton, the founder and former CEO of Fiserv, where they were both on a Board of Directors for an Economic Development Organization. George asked Susan one question, "If you could create something innovative for your industry, what would it be?" Susan told him about the wasted time that occurred in meetings as people updated each other on projects. She also mentioned how the company's strategic plan was not front and center enough to create daily momentum. After explaining the inefficiencies she saw, she said, "I would create a technology tool that would keep the strategic plan and action plans front and center in a secured hub that was fun for people to regularly log into." He asked Susan to write a business plan, and signed up as an investor and chairman of her board, once he saw her business plan. Unfortunately, George died within 7 months of the start of BIZremedies, but encouraged Susan to carry out her vision. These kind of obstacles are what either make us derail from our dreams or make us committed to find a way to overcome our real and perceived obstacles. Five years later, Susan is now re-programming her Hubs for the second time, after extensive test-marketing with her client base. Our 4 Hub offerings will be available before the end of the year to help you transform your culture into one that works smarter, not harder, to achieve the customer experience you envision.
